Gourmet Summer BBQ

Includes basic cutlery, china and paper serviette package

Option 1

Chermoula chicken skewers, free range chicken marinated in coriander, parsley, preserved lemon

Tuki lamb chipolatas, small handmade sausages from Smeaton, with Ego’s red pepper pickle

Tuki lamb loin chops marinated in garlic, lemon thyme and chilli

Aged Kyneton beef burgers with caramelised onion and horseradish yoghurt

Ego’s fresh baked white rolls

Fatouche salad: watercress, organic leaves, blanched asparagus, green beans, soft boiled egg, roasted red capsicum, croutons, parsley, coriander and mint

Salad of local potatoes with dill, caper and lemon dressing

Option 2

Aged Kyneton eye fillet mignons, small medallions of eye fillet wrapped in Istra prosciutto, can be grilled to your liking. Served with horseradish labne, various pickles and relishes

Aussie prawn and Istra chorizo skewers, marinated in saffron, smoked paprika and preserved lemon served with a lime aioli

Tuki lamb loin cutlets marinated in sumac berry and bush pepper, cooked to medium rare

Mini fillets of Yarra valley salmon marinated in lemon myrtle and thyme

Pork and apple sausages with grilled pear

Ego’s freshly baked white rolls

Fried free range egg on English muffin with Istra bacon or sautéed spinach with hollandaise sauce

Oysters Bloody Mary and Virgin Mary in shot galsses

Mini bagels selection:
Cream cheese, rocket and smoked salmon;
Scrambled egg with truffle oil and chives;
Istra ham poached egg and hollandaise sauce

Mini apple and raspberry Danish

Warm brioche with soft Belgian chocolate centre

Strawberry, watermelon and mint salad, served in champagne flutes with wooden forks

Bbq prawns on skewers, marinated spicy plum and drizzled with lime mayonnaise
